Tatra – The Legacy of Hans Ledwinka


Hans Ledwinka’s innovative Tatra cars were models of design excellence, and, prior to the Second World War, were highly influential in shaping what was to become modern car design concepts and the development of Volkswagen. This book at long last places Ledwinka in his well-deserved place amongst the great car designers.

Veloce Published Tatra – The Legacy of Hans Ledwinka in November 2015. The title had already been published in a smaller, less image-focused format some time previously by a separate publisher. Veloce’s new edition required a completely new design that would live up to both the previous iteration of the title and the design standards of the cars featured in the book. I was responsible for defining this new look for the title, as well as completing the layout.
