The most comprehensive guide to automotive terms available. Whether you’re a student, apprentice, mechanic, automative industry worker, a driver, or car/motorcycle enthusiasts, with over 13,000 entries, this app explains the function of thousands of car, truck and motorcycle components.

Developed during the summer of 2018, Automotive A-Z was a complete redesign and rewrite of an older app that had previously been released by Veloce Publishing, in which users could look up definitions of automotive terms.

The primary goal in rebuilding the app was to reduce the time it took the user to get to the definitions, both in terms of UI design and in app performance. This was achieved through the use of a search bar that is present at the top of the app at all times, and the implementation of an SQL database. The result is a responsive and fast experience for users in a clean and minimal interface.

I was responsible for all aspects of the app development, from initial mockups through coding and submission for release on Android and iOS.
