Lotus Elan and +2 Source Book : J N Russell Miscellanea

A comprehensive purchasing, maintenance, and restoration guide

Lotus Elan and +2 Source Book is being published by Veloce Publishing in December 2020. After the initial cover and spreads design had been completed by a coworker, I was asked to handle the rest of the production process. This included editing the original manuscript, processing all images used in the book, creating the book’s layout based on my coworker’s designs, and finally exporting and prepping the book for print.

Due to the nature of the book, it was felt that none of the images included in the main body of the book were suitable to be printed at a large size to serve as the book’s endpapers. As a result, I chose to create a series of diagram-style illustrations for that purpose, inspired by original Lotus plan diagrams. These can be found below.
